Honduras is looking to build stronger economic ties with Zambia.
President Xiomara Castro of Honduras has shown her dedication to enhancing bilateral relations, focusing on agriculture, mining, and tourism.
During the presentation of Letters of Credence by Zambia’s Ambassador to the U.S., Dr. Chibamba Kanyama who also represents Zambia in Honduras President Castro stated that her government is eager to deepen economic collaboration and explore agreements that benefit both countries.
She highlighted the significance of boosting cooperation as a strategic move to advance development in key sectors of both economies.
In response, Dr. Kanyama shared President Hakainde Hichilema’s commitment to strengthening relations with Honduras.
He mentioned that Zambia is focusing on partnerships with countries that have similar economic goals, especially in trade, investment, and tourism.
Dr. Kanyama also stressed the importance of Zambia and Honduras working together to utilize their combined strengths for mutual prosperity.
This development was confirmed by Charles Tembo, First Secretary for Press and Public Relations at the Zambian Embassy in Washington, D.C.
