Special Assistant to the President for Politics, Levy Ngoma, says voting for the opposition is a waste of time.
Speaking when he addressed a community engagement in Chezi, Mpulungu, Mr. Ngoma urged the people to work with President Hakainde Hichilema for development to be actualized in their area.
He also advised the people of Chezi to take advantage of the tourism potential of the area to advance development.
Mr. Ngoma said by working with the government, the people of Chezi will have a number of social amenities delivered to the area. He said this in response to Headman Chezi, who asked the government for a road to be constructed in the area, as the only available transport is by water.
And Headman Chezi thanked the government for constructing a clinic in the area, which has brought health services closer to the people.
During the community engagement, some residents added their voice in appreciating the good policies of President Hichilema. The residents cited the free education policy and the timely delivery of farming inputs as among the benefits they are enjoying under the UPND.
