ACC and RTSA Sign MoU to Fight Corruption and Economic Crime
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) and the Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) have made an important move in the battle against corruption, money laundering, and other economic crimes by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
ACC Director General Daphine Chabu pointed out that this MoU boosts teamwork between the two agencies, allowing them to share information, work together on investigations, and access important data more easily.
She mentioned that the goal of this partnership is to make investigations smoother, get rid of unnecessary delays, and improve efficiency in public institutions.
Ms. Chabu also stressed how important it is for government agencies to use digital tools, which help them get data quickly and cut down on using paper for communication.
RTSA Director and Chief Executive Officer Engineer Amon Mweemba agreed with Chabu, saying that this agreement shows a strong commitment to fighting corruption, fixing problems, and encouraging good behavior in public service.
The signing of the MoU is a key moment in the fight against corruption, showing that important government agencies are dedicated to working together for a more open and responsible system of governance.
