The Kasama Municipal Council is saddened to announce the heartbreaking discovery of a deceased male, identified as Mathews Mulenga, aged 36. His body was located today, 6th May 2025, in a septic tank at Mulenga and Sons Pub in the Chikumanino area.
Preliminary reports indicate that Mr. Mulenga was last seen before 30th April 2025. His remains were found this afternoon, retrieved by the Kasama Municipal Fire Brigade under the direction of Sub Officer Mutamba Mulenga.
Authorities have taken over the site for further investigation, and the body has been transferred to police and health officials for formal identification.
