Cooler weather continues as windy and partly cloudy skies take over most of Zambia

The Zambia Meteorological Department has predicted that cool and windy weather will stick around, thanks to a moist airflow coming from the southeast.

FORECAST FOR TONIGHT – SUNDAY, 29TH JUNE 2025

Northwestern, Copperbelt, Western, Luapula, and Northern Provinces:
People living in these areas can look forward to clear skies with some windy moments. Temperatures will be mild to cool, getting colder as dawn approaches.

Southern, Lusaka, Central, Eastern, and Muchinga Provinces:
Expect partly cloudy and windy weather, with temperatures dropping from mild to cold during the early morning hours.

FORECAST FOR MONDAY, 30TH JUNE 2025

Eastern, Muchinga, Central, Northern, Luapula, Copperbelt, Lusaka, and Southern Provinces:

Morning: Cold to cool temperatures with a few clouds and brisk winds. Minimum temperatures will be between 04°C and 11°C.

Afternoon: Mostly cloudy skies are expected, with some winds and mild to warm temperatures. Maximums will be between 24°C and 29°C.

Evening: Partly cloudy and breezy, with temperatures turning mild to cool.

Western and Northwestern Provinces:

Morning: Mainly sunny, with some wind, and cold to cool temperatures. Minimum temperatures will be between 04°C and 09°C.

Afternoon: A few clouds with windy moments, becoming warm to hot. Maximum temperatures will range from 24°C to 31°C.

Evening: Clear skies with occasional winds and mild to cool temperatures.

OUTLOOK FOR TUESDAY, 1ST JULY 2025

Temperatures are expected to stay low across the country, keeping the cool weather we’ve been having.
