Copper Queens Head Coach Nora Häuptle mentioned that the team is focused and ready to compete as they prepare for the 2024 TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

After a training session, Häuptle shared that the atmosphere in camp is great, with players putting in a lot of effort both on and off the field.

She highlighted that the team is working on building teamwork, reinforcing their core values, and making sure they are both physically and mentally prepared for their first match against the host team, Morocco.

Häuptle recognized the strength of the Moroccan team, calling them a quality side with skilled players.

She stated that the Copper Queens will not underestimate any opponent and are determined to win their opening match.

Häuptle also encouraged fans back home to keep supporting the team as they represent the country on the continental level.
