Faz president calls on chiplopolo tostay united and perform well at 2025 cosafa cup

The President of the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ), Keith Mweemba, has urged the Chipolopolo to keep their unity and determination strong as they get ready for the 2025 Hollywoodbets COSAFA Cup, which will be held in South Africa.

While speaking to the national team during a training session at Nkoloma Stadium, Mweemba encouraged the players to tackle the regional tournament with focus and energy, calling it an important opportunity before the upcoming African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers.

He highlighted the importance of teamwork, emphasizing that a united and disciplined team will be crucial for succeeding in the competitive COSAFA environment.

Mweemba also pushed the team to aim for a great finish in the tournament and to connect their performance with larger goals, such as qualifying for the FIFA World Cup.

The Chipolopolo are currently in training camp as they continue their preparations for the regional competition, which is set to start later this year.
