Chipolopolo Head Coach Avram Grant says the Zambian national team has taken key lessons from its two defeats at the ongoing CHAN tournament and is ready to respond with a strong performance.
Speaking ahead of their final Group A fixtures—against Morocco tomorrow and Kenya on Sunday—Grant noted that the losses to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Angola have been an important learning curve for the squad.
He stressed that the team is fully focused on turning things around, with the goal of securing victory against Morocco and bouncing back from the back-to-back setbacks.
Grant made the remarks during a pre-match press conference in Kenya ahead of their third Group A clash.
Meanwhile, midfielder Kelvin Kampamba expressed confidence in the team’s ability to deliver, highlighting their renewed attitude and fighting spirit. He acknowledged Morocco’s strength but insisted that Chipolopolo should not be underestimated, promising a more aggressive push—particularly in the final third.
