Kazadi warned by police about obscene video shared on line

Police in Lusaka have taken a warn and caution statement from 33-year-old David Kazadi, who lives in Longacres, regarding the crime of obscene matters, as stated in Section 177(1)(a) of the Penal Code, Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia.

The police reported that Kazadi was arrested on July 2, 2025, in the Longacres area.

Initial findings show that between June 2023 and June 2025, on dates that are not known, Kazadi is said to have made and shared an obscene video that could harm public morals. This video was spread widely on various social media platforms.

The police mentioned that they are still investigating the case, and the suspect is still in custody.
