Kwacha Stability and Strong Harvest Push Feed Prices Down

The Poultry Association of Zambia has announced that some feed suppliers have lowered their prices by around 30 Kwacha.

In a conversation with ZNBC News, the Association’s Executive Director, Dominic Chanda, explained that the price decrease is due to the stable Kwacha and enough maize supplies.

He mentioned that feed prices are likely to drop even more this year because of the excellent harvest of maize and soya beans.

However, Mr. Chanda pointed out that poultry consumers have not yet seen the benefits of the price drop because of other costs related to production
