Microsoft talks about how TPM makes Windows 11 computers better.
They want Windows 10 users to switch to Windows 11, especially since support for Windows 10 is ending soon. They even suggest that you might need to buy a new computer to run Windows 11. Recently, they shared a page explaining how Trusted Platform Module (TPM) helps make Windows 11 safer and more reliable.
TPM can protect your files, manage software on your computer, and stop people from changing your computer’s hardware.
Although Windows 11 has some security perks thanks to TPM, the big deal is that Microsoft made TPM 2.0 a must-have for Windows 11, which is why many older Windows 10 computers can’t upgrade.
Even now, Microsoft is sticking to this rule. If you’re still using Windows 10 and your computer doesn’t meet the TPM requirement, you don’t have to give it up.
