RDA STARTS STUDY FOR FLYOVER BRIDGES IN LUSAKA

The Road Development Agency (RDA) has started looking for a consultant to carry out a feasibility study for building flyover bridges in Lusaka, the capital city.

The planned flyover bridges will be placed along important transport routes, such as the Great East Road, Great North Road, Mumbwa Road, and Kafue Road. These projects are part of the government’s larger plan to reduce traffic jams in the city and improve road safety.

RDA’s Director of Corporate Services, Review Namanje, confirmed this news in an interview with ZNBC News. He mentioned that the feasibility study is an important first step towards successfully carrying out the flyover project.

“Construction will only begin after the feasibility study is finished and its suggestions are carefully considered,” Mr. Namanje said.
