Zambia and Sierra Leone ended their match in a 0-0 tie during the TotalEnergies CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations

The game took place at the Suez Canal Stadium on Sunday, and both teams had chances but couldn’t score. Zambia, who won the tournament in 2017, had more possession but struggled against Sierra Leone’s strong defense.

Joseph Sabobo was the standout player for Zambia, making the Sierra Leone goalkeeper, Samba Bah, work hard. Sierra Leone, playing in their first tournament, also created chances, with players like Samba Bah and Nathaniel Jalloh being dangerous.

In the second half, both teams tried hard to score, but despite some close calls, the game ended without any goals.

This result keeps Group A competitive as they look forward to the next matches. Zambia will be happy with their chances but disappointed they didn’t score, while Sierra Leone can be proud of their effort in their first game.

Both teams will now prepare for their upcoming matches with a better understanding of what they need to do to advance.
