Zambia suffered its second straight defeat at the ongoing African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2025, losing to Angola in a dramatic encounter this evening.

The Chipolopolo boys took the lead in the 72nd minute when Dominic Chanda headed home a perfectly delivered set piece from Kelvin Kampamba.

However, Angola responded quickly, with João Manha finding the equalizer in the 78th minute. The turnaround was completed in the 85th minute when João Chingando struck the winning goal, sealing a comeback victory for the Angolans.

This result leaves Zambia in a must-win situation in their final group stage match if they are to keep their hopes alive of qualifying for the knockout stage.
